• Typed pre-execution fixture values: a command's fixture_inputs: (source format ess/13) and
  authored fixtures: with {$fixture: name} references (ess-scenario/3) compile to suites
  ess-conformance/18/19. Rust, Go and TypeScript resolve and type-check the values from an
  independent provider before BeginScenario, copy them per scenario, and compare the first direct
  event occurrence with them. Invalid values stop before target activity; a missing provider is an
  explicit skip; browser replay refuses fixtures. Fixture-free models and suites keep their bytes.

• schemas/generated/ess.schema.json describes ExternalRef as the provider:key string and a
  periodic cause's every (Period) as the PT<seconds>S string ESS reads and writes, instead of
  an object with provider/reference and a bare integer. Each pattern admits exactly what the
  parser reads, held by a parity test over the committed schema. No source format changes.
