• Optional provider-owned capture checkpoints distinguish complete observations, unchanged state
  and acknowledged append deltas. SQLite tracks SQL-visible changes across connections and retains
  a bounded journal, with exact cumulative capture limits and complete fallback after uncertainty.
  Checkpoints are transient and cannot be transferred between provider instances or request scopes.
  Raw database-file writes bypassing SQLite are outside this optional warm-read guarantee.
