v0.1.10
UnTangled v0.1.10
A modern web interface for OpenWRT (an alternative to LuCI).
Install:
# Stable OpenWRT (23.05 and 24.10) — opkg / .ipk:
opkg install ./untangled_*.ipk # core, HTTP only
opkg install ./untangled-full_*.ipk # + HTTPS, Wi-Fi scan, firmware/backup
# OpenWRT snapshot (main) — apk / .apk:
apk add ./untangled-*.apk # core, HTTP only
apk add ./untangled-full-*.apk # full feature setWhich file do I download? On stable OpenWRT (23.05 / 24.10)
use the .ipk files; the .apk files are only for OpenWRT
snapshot. In both cases, -full is the one to install — it
pulls in the core UI plus HTTPS, Wi-Fi scan, firmware upgrade and
Wake-on-LAN.
Heads-up: the
untangled-fullfile is tiny (~1 KB) while
untangled(core) is ~90 KB. That's expected — the core holds the
actual interface;-fullis just a short list that tells the
router to install the core plus the extras. Small file, full
install. (The long_allin the names means "works on any router
model"; don't rename the files — the package manager needs them.)
Prefer the signed package feed (one-time setup, then normal
opkg/apk installs and upgrades, no manual downloads):
https://bidhata.github.io/untangled/ — instructions and public
keys are on that page.
The single .ipk set works on every current stable release
(PKGARCH:=all). The .apk set is only for OpenWRT snapshot,
which is the only line that uses apk; it is built best-effort and
may be absent if a snapshot build broke. See the repository README
for post-install ACL setup.
