Agent Reports, enhanced send-code inputs/modules, stricter target confirmation and Revit PID toast titles.

Highlights

• Agent Reports: revit_report_task_result publishes validated task reports without modifying the model. The Reports window supports Wide/Compact reading, text size, bookmarks and model links. revit_get_report_history retrieves exact local call/record references, reasons and before/after details. Capture selection remains atomic on checkpoint read failure, with explicit call selection and client isolation.
• Revit PID on toasts: titles show the owning Revit process PID, including before instance metadata is available and when branding is hidden.
• Enhanced send-code: JSON inputs, revisioned reusable helper modules, compile-only validation and optional McpTaskResult outcomes. Enhanced requests require send_code_v2 on the selected gateway/add-in pair; default calls retain the legacy wire format. Discipline namespaces are imported for body scripts; complete compilation units retain their own imports.
• Target confirmation: after an existing binding is lost or replaced, auto/year selectors cannot silently move the session to another process. Select the intended pid:/id: explicitly. Re-selecting the same process preserves the confirmed document constraint; another project/Edit Family requires an explicit document confirmation or rebind=true.
• Packaging/tests: Setup verification follows the 55-tool default catalog. Crash-recovery tests observe the actual SQLite writer's exit before recovery and cleanup, keeping rollback assertions intact.

Catalog: 242 tools for a fresh full install/--toolsets all, 245 with adaptive bake, 55 for bare default toolsets. User filters and personal baked tools can change the exposed surface.

The separate lazy-tool-mode and issue-16 agent dialog-answer branches remain deferred and are not included.

Downloads and upgrade

• Setup ZIP: self-contained gateway and add-ins for Revit 2022–2027. Close affected Revit/client processes before upgrading in place; do not uninstall first. Restart the clients to load the new gateway/tool metadata.
• MCPB: optional Claude Desktop extension. Install the Setup from this same release first. The bundle pins its exact gateway executable hash; older installed/development binaries are rejected with rvt_mcp_setup_status. Use one Desktop registration route. For the extension route, install Setup with -Client none, then add the MCPB through Desktop's extension UI.
• NuGet package: server-only, not the complete client installer. This downloadable nupkg does not imply publication to NuGet.org.
• Every package has a .sha256 sidecar. MCPB is unsigned; checksum agreement is not publisher-signature verification. NuGet.org and MCP Registry publication are separate steps.

Verification and limits

Source: 6cfdfe5. Exact-source CI: all 12 jobs green, 3,342 tests passed. Setup and NuGet are the exact verified CI artifacts. The MCPB uses unchanged shared launcher/tooling, pins the Setup gateway hash and uses fresh 242-tool metadata validated by SDK 1.27.1 and official CLI 2.1.2.

Six plugin builds and package checks do not certify every native operation/year or an installed client. Final packaged host/client acceptance remains separate from earlier scoped native Revit 2026 development evidence. A local full-suite run concurrent with stress recorded a History worker-start timeout; the standalone full suite and final CI passed, without claiming that timeout fixed. The previously reported Revit 2025 stair crash and family-load/recovery-dialog crash are not claimed fixed. Earlier committed/file side effects may survive a failing transaction; inspect pending/unknown outcomes before retrying.
