BDO Vision 1.13.0-rc.20 · friend test
Pre-releaseBDO Vision · test candidate · 1.12.0-rc.5
Guild Quest: click GUILD QUEST in Vision, enable the optional tracker and return to BDO with the alchemy guild objective visible in the right-hand quest widget. Compare the displayed progress against the game. Default alert is 90%, with one completion alert. TEST ALERT checks sound without altering progress. Hide the widget and verify the state pauses. NEXT QUEST archives the previous snapshot. See GUILD-QUEST.md for boundaries.
Tool durability: show full cooking/alchemy labels in BDO, then inspect VIEW TOOLS. Counters appear before the active utensil is confirmed; two separate decreases identify it. Move the camera and verify reacquisition. Cover BDO and confirm readings are labeled paused/last verified, then return to BDO for an immediate recheck. SAVE STATUS exports small local diagnostics without screenshots. These are optional checks alongside loot/grind testing below.
New: open GEAR STUDIO for current/target equipment builds and enhancement-specific market quotes. For equipment import, open BDO's equipment window, start a tooltip sweep, switch to BDO within the three-second lead-in and hover clockwise over gear. Review all recognized slots and levels before applying. Repeat for missed pieces. This candidate preserves the full tracker; native reader-only experiments are not the app. See GEAR-STUDIO.md for scope and limitations.
This is an unsigned Windows test candidate. No Python installation is needed. Extract the whole ZIP before opening OPEN-BDO-VISION.bat or desktop/BDO-Vision.exe. Keep the accompanying folders beside the EXE.
Real game OCR
- Install Tesseract with English once if it is not already installed. The official project links Windows installers here: https://tesseract-ocr.github.io/tessdoc/Installation.html . Vision expects
C:\Program Files\Tesseract-OCR\tesseract.exe; another location can be entered in Settings. - Open BDO and show the personal You have obtained… message panel with 6–8 complete rows. Keep item names and quantities fully visible.
- Open Silver & Loot History → Capture Setup, choose Text feed, select that message panel, then enable Tracking ON and Record loot. Use only one loot feed at a time.
- Return to the game. In Vision’s Grind tab, name the spot and start a run. Optional sharing connects recorded results to the local planner.
- For a useful comparison, start a second tracker at the same moment. Compare item quantities first, then prices and total silver. Blocked text, lost scrolling overlap and uncertain quantities can still miss loot; this candidate does not infer missing items.
Silver is captured quantity × matching market or verified NPC value, before costs and fees. Items without a verified price remain excluded from a labeled partial total. Initial market matching needs an internet connection.
History and recovery
The app saves history on your own PC in %USERPROFILE%/.bdo-vision, separate from the extracted ZIP. Reopening a copy restores the existing instance. Starting a new session keeps older records. Startup creates a verified history backup. The package contains no developer/user loot history, settings or screen captures.
Please report the version, scan time/capture gap, one clearly missed item and both tracker counts for the same run. Do not send account credentials. Record any capture outages separately.
Browser demo
The browser demo uses simulated drops and fixed example prices. It demonstrates session timing, capture pauses and valuation. Native screen capture, tray restoration and global shortcuts require the Windows application.
Crafting Studio
Enable Crafting mode and optional Share recorded loot with planner in Windows Vision, then open the paired planner. Select your existing cooking/alchemy recipe. Set batches, your expected main output per batch, actual seconds per batch and the percentage of sale proceeds you retain. Defaults are planning assumptions; review any bundled or unmatched prices. Input prices are locked when a recipe timer starts.
Use owned inventory and Make intermediate to prepare a shopping list and production order. Add to production queue saves plans; it does not control the game. Start the timer when crafting starts in BDO. Recorded gross, modeled cost/net, item contributions and goal progress appear in the active timer. Costs are inferred from captured main output and the assumed yield; material consumption is not directly observed.
Optionally check Project main output while crafting capture is blocked before starting a recipe timer. It requires a live connection and native Crafting mode, and assumes uninterrupted crafting during that gap. It clears on capture recovery, excludes rare extras and never changes saved loot or grind totals. Cancel the planning timer if game crafting stops.
Export saved plans and assumptions before changing browser/port. Loot history remains protected separately. The new standalone crafting demo is https://bindlez.github.io/bdo-vision-crafting-demo.html ; its prices and drops are explicitly synthetic.
The rc.3 extraction audit fixes quantity/name parsing without guessing missing drops. See docs/EXTRACTION-AUDIT.md for measured remaining image misses; keep 6–8 complete personal message rows visible.
