Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current news component uses Steem, however the Bitshares community is more on the Hive blockchain now.
The current news page is blank, perhaps the steem library is too old, or there are no posts on steem to query anymore (hence the need to switch to hive).
Describe the solution you'd like
Switch to using the hive blockchain.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Remove the component.
