v0.1.1 — usable out of the box

First "actually usable for someone who isn't me" build. v0.1.0 shipped MSI/NSIS installers that put the .exe in Program Files but didn't bundle the seed — first-run found no workspace and either errored or fell through to a Program-Files-shaped "workspace." This release fixes that by retiring the installer and shipping a zip you extract wherever you want your workspace to live.

Install

1. Download systema-claude-v0.1.1.zip below.
2. Extract it to wherever you want your workspace (e.g. C:\Users\you\Documents\my-workspace\).
3. Double-click systema-claude.exe inside the extracted folder.

The folder you extracted to is your workspace. Plain folders, no symlinks, no Program Files, no admin prompt. Edit, rename, grow it like you would any directory.

Heads-up: the binary is unsigned. Windows Defender will prompt you to allow it on first launch. If the .exe appears to "disappear" after launch, check Windows Security → Protection History → allow → exclude the workspace folder.

First run

The app opens to the Dashboard view. Your only active task is tasks/welcome.md — open it. The welcome task is your agent's onboarding script: it interviews you for ~45 minutes and writes your voice, your projects, and the principles you live by into context/. You can pause anywhere.

You'll need a CLI agent on your PATH:

• Claude (default) — install claude from Anthropic.
• Codex — install the codex CLI.

If neither is installed, the app shows a warning banner at the top so you're not stuck wondering why the spawn buttons silently fail.

Maintenance hooks (recommended)

Two Claude Code hooks ship in examples/hooks/ — Stop hook (prompts for captures at session-end) and SessionStart hook (loads workspace orientation into the agent's context). Install both:

python scripts/install-hooks.py

The installer copies them to ~/.claude/hooks/ and prints the JSON to merge into your ~/.claude/settings.json.

What changed since v0.1.0

• Distribution: zip instead of installer. Extract anywhere, run the .exe inside. Loose systema-claude.exe artifact also attached, for users updating an existing workspace.
• Dead button removed. SwarmView's "observer" button (kaomoji) referenced a parent-only file path and silently did nothing on click.
• Agent CLI buttons appear. seed/org.config.json ships with both claude and codex configured — the spawn-buttons array picks them up. v0.1.0 only showed "+ shell".
• Agent-on-PATH check. Dismissible banner at the top if a configured agent's launchCmd isn't found.
• Hooks shipped. Both maintenance-check.py (Stop) and session-start.py (SessionStart), zero-dependency Python.
• Format-contract example routine added under routines/ — disabled teaching artifact for the validation-at-the-boundary pattern.
• Real screenshot in the README.
