Desktop app

AGT Studio, the console as a desktop app. Download the installer for your system:

Release Notes

Updates you choose

agt now tells you when a new release is out, and changes nothing until you ask.

  • AGT Studio looks for a new version at startup and every six hours, instead of only at startup, and no longer installs it on its own. A New version button appears at the bottom of the navigation and Update to … in the tray menu, with one notification per version. The dialog says how many agents are working; Update and restart downloads with progress, stops the scheduler, installs and restarts. The tray menu also has Check for updates. See Desktop app.
  • agt upgrade shows both versions and asks, then runs the new release's installer into the directory you installed to. agt upgrade --check only reports. An agt installed with Cargo or built from a clone is left alone, with instructions. See Updating.
  • The CLI ends a command run at a terminal with a one-line notice when a newer release exists, at most once a day. It never shows in JSON output, in scripts or agents whose output is not a terminal, or in CI.
  • The Web console shows the same New version button, with the agt upgrade command to run.
  • Set AGT_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1 to turn off the automatic checks.

AGT Studio 0.6.1 still installs 0.6.2 by itself at startup, as before; the new dialog applies from 0.6.2 on.

  • Skill archives are read with zip 9, replacing the yanked 2.4.2.
