Huh, WhatsApp has been working fine for me on my desktop and laptop, both of which are on 10.9.5. I've left WhatsApp open in the background for many hours at a time, during which time I was using the computer extensively for Zoom, playing H265 video, etc. |

Hi! It hasn't happened to me again after I updated to a newer version of this Chromium branch. Seems to be resolved. Or at least, the freeze part. |

When chromium feature |blink::features::kReduceUserAgent| is enabled, use the chromium reduced user agent. Test: Print the user agent with |blink::features::kReduceUserAgent| disabled and enabled (see b/191670403 comment #29). Also passed internal CQ. This reverts commit 77e9679. Reason for revert: Likely cause of failure Step "browser_tests on Ubuntu-18.04" failing on builder "linux-chromeos-chrome" The failure is a crash in browser_tests. This failure is fairly but not perfectly consistent. In three of the last four runs on this bot, browser_tests failed with something in the NativeInputMethodEngineTest.EmojiSuggestion* suite. It's not always the same test that fails each time. Nevertheless, this is pretty indicative that nowadays something is wrong in this suite. This is the obvious candidate, submitted right when the test became mostly-failing. This CL introduces a base::Feature that turns off the prioritization of preconnect tasks in order to be able to evaluate the performance impact of this prioritization. The feature defaults to off to preserve current behavior. As much as we believe that PCScan experiment wouldn't be biased by disabled-but-*-way-split modes of BRP experiment, there is a slight chance that it would. Adding PCScan_Effective_Fallback just in case, which ignores those modes entirely. Looking at the design and cl/414999087 (internal only), PCScan_Effective compares groups (A1+C1+E1+F1) vs. (A2+C2+E2+F2), whereas BackupRefPtr_Effective_Fallback compares only (A1+F1) vs. (A2+F2). Using BackupRefPtr_Effective_Fallback is far from ideal, because it limits the tested population to 2*14%, from 2*32%, but nice to have a fallback. Move Autofill suggestion custom icon resizing logic from AutofillDropdownAdapter to AutofillPopupBridge. The adapter simply renders the icon that is set by the bridge. This makes sure that all the logic related to the dropdown icon is at a single location. Since the suggestion icon can be a custom bitmap icon or one from the resources, the AutofillSuggestion model will have a Drawable member variable instead of a Bitmap. It's a no-op. After a bit of usage of the webpage, it randomly freezes the whole computer and no way around it unless you reboot. Happened to me in random moments, with the tab active and also on the background, while doing other stuff. Doesn't happen if Whatsapp Web isn't open.
