After debugging some of the issues with
useAnimatedKeyboard, I also figured out where some of the issues were at in the keyboard controller library that we really want to be using. I've implemented that here, both for the messaging and for the composer.I've tested on both iOS and Android pretty extensively on simulators, going to build some native clients now and see how those feel as well.
