I discover bluer for a personal project which uses an l2cap device.
After searching for pieces of information about the PSM, I don't understand why the PSM is encoded using an 8-bit unsigned integer while bluez and the Bluetooth references use a 16bit unsigned integer instead.

I've started developing BlueR (when it was still called BLEZ) as a Rust binding for Bluetooth Low Energy. Since the PSM in BLE is only 8-bit, I've used an u8.

However, now that BlueR aims to support the full Bluetooth stack including classic Bluetooth, we should indeed change the PSM to be an u16.
