This is a critical bug fix release that resolves a major issue introduced in v0.8.0 when switching from git shell commands to go-git library.

Critical Bug Fix

  • Fixed "repository does not exist" error when adding dotfiles to existing git repositories
  • Resolved git operations failing after the go-git library migration in v0.8.0

Git Implementation Improvements

  • Switched to git.PlainOpen/PlainInit for more reliable repository handling
  • Added SSH authentication support - automatic SSH agent detection with key fallback
  • Added HTTPS authentication via environment variables (GIT_TOKEN, GIT_USERNAME/GIT_PASSWORD)
  • Improved remote handling - works with any remote name, not just "origin"
