I like the Status sidebar block in the UI (on wide screens at the side). It needs some mor styling and refinements. Also I would like to suggest putting the slug, now the only field under "Meta" tab, right under the "publish" status field. Idea @bobdenotter ? Then you have an instant view on wider screens what the status is, and what path the item is published to.

Don't know what more there is to find under Meta by the way. Or is the SEO module something for that tab, as that's also something influencing the meta output of the item?

As discussed: Slug field is default below title. Best place for now as default place in content types. Instance with slug in meta is just for Homepage content type.

The sidebar block with item info, dates will get styling with info field with disabled input replaced by labels and values.
