⚠️ Breaking change

Scraps reads only the frontmatter keys the Open Knowledge Format defines, and no longer shows any other key as opaque data:

  • scraps frontmatter is removed.
  • The MCP list_frontmatter tool is removed, leaving 11 tools.
  • frontmatter is no longer an allowed field of scraps get --json or MCP get_scrap; asking for it is an error.

To keep reading what Scraps understands, use the keys' own fields: type, description, resource, verified and sources (title and tags are read as before). Any other key is ignored. Files are never rewritten, so the keys stay in your Markdown.

Why: every key Scraps gives meaning to is an OKF key, and each one it comes to read gets a typed field of its own. Passing other keys through made it look as if Scraps interpreted them when it didn't.

What's Changed

✨ Features

  • feat!: read only the frontmatter keys OKF defines (#856)

  • feat(pkm): record a source in resource and sources, not as a body link (#853)

The pkm digest and learn skills, and llm-wiki's ingest, record a source in the frontmatter instead of as a link at the end of the body. A page about a source carries its URL as resource; any other page lists what it was written from in sources, by the source page's path when the wiki has one. Each skill runs source-has-page to find a URL that should be a path.

🔧 Maintenance

  • chore(deps): update jdx/mise-action action to v5 (#767)
  • chore(deps): update boykush/workflows and boykush/ai-plugins digests (#855, #854)
  • v4.0.0 (#857)
