2.1.0 adds an experimental Rust/Wasm implementation and brings back the browser benchmark.

  • Import blo, bloSvg, and bloImage from blo/wasm for the synchronous Wasm implementation.
  • Call the optional init() to prepare Wasm ahead of the first icon; otherwise initialization happens automatically.
  • Wasm bytes are included in the JavaScript package, with ESM/CommonJS builds and TypeScript types.
  • Compare Wasm and JavaScript blo with the other blockies libraries in the restored browser benchmark and updated CLI comparison.
