CryptBridge 0.9.1
A website on the Linux server (nginx with WordPress, for example) and streaming now take turns on ports 80 and 443 without any work by hand.
Linux server
- Streaming on pauses your website for you. If another web server uses ports 80 and 443 when you switch streaming on (menu item 2,
sudo cryptbridge streaming onor the setup), CryptBridge names it and asks: Pause nginx while streaming is on? Press Enter for yes. Answer n and streaming simply stays off. - Streaming off brings it back. Switching streaming off asks: Start nginx again? Press Enter, and the web server runs again just as it did before, including whether it starts with the server. While streaming is on, it does not start after a restart of the server, so it cannot take the ports from streaming.
- Only what CryptBridge paused. A web server that you switched off yourself is never started. If there is no other web server, nothing is asked.
- Nothing is left half done. If another program still keeps the ports, or streaming cannot start, the paused web server is started again at once.
- Uninstall offers to start a paused web server again, and keeps ports 80 and 443 open in the firewall while a website uses them.
cryptbridgeopens the menu, as the texts always said (it started the setup). To run the setup again, usesudo cryptbridge setupor menu item 6.- The setup no longer accepts a number as the desktop user.
