Mesh Plus 0.1.0a25

Withdraws current admission and advertisement for the standalone Agent active profile. Full Agent, working-set, Tmux and Host Mesh keep their frozen contracts. Delta/sync and opt-in view-feed retain their prior gates and are not newly selected.

Exact existing qualified wheel bytes are published unchanged. provenance.json distinguishes the wheel build revision from the qualification/tag revision and records passing hosted source checks. This prerelease does not change any native session or enable a consumer route.

Mesh Plus 0.1.0a24 — experimental complete-view change feed

@byebyebryan byebyebryan released this 20 Oct 17:49
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Experimental, explicit opt-in complete-view change feed. Publishers continue supplying complete native views; Mesh compares whole records and sends atomic changed-record updates, with bounded full replacement after gaps. Consumers can read change events or use ordinary Reader reconstruction. Original full native nonce proofs and currentness checks remain required.

This prerelease is published from view-change-feed-20261020; accepted main and installed selections remain at a23. It includes the prior opt-in working-set SDK registration, without claiming native producer or deployment acceptance. The retained semantic delta engine stays dark. No PyPI publication or rollout is included.

The final review fixed receiver-construction cleanup, exact selector comparison, concurrent budget narrowing, explicit legacy reset-hook opt-in and a standalone test's accidental optional Observer dependency. Frozen prior normative bytes are preserved.

Validation of the exact attached wheel:

  • 483 standalone tests each on Python 3.11.17, 3.13.14 and 3.14.8, no skips; neither Observer installed.
  • 34 optional WSS tests and the fault laboratory on Python 3.11 and 3.13.
  • Six disposable current Observer IPC/real-pipe scenarios per Python version, ordinary Reader/facade and two fresh native proofs.
  • All 107 packaged runtime/schema files match reviewed source.

These checks do not establish inclusive CPU/RSS, large/dense multi-view or slow-peer capacity, delivered recovery, populated native/fixed-SSH or immutable deployed-pair acceptance. Full source reads and target verification remain O(N).

Assets are the new a24 wheel, versioned manifest, provenance and SHA256SUMS. Existing a23 artifacts are unchanged.

Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Mesh Plus 0.1.0a23 publishes the exact qualified active-feed wheel, paired with Agent Observer 0.7.0a7.

  • Adds the explicit Agent active v1 profile and lock 5, selected API 4 bodies, independently leased scope/decision metadata, owned admission and selected prepared reads.
  • Includes the accepted acquisition-ordering and BOOTTIME deadline corrections since the preceding hosted release.
  • Preserves SDK/Read/Delivery/preparation/admission interface 1, all 29 preceding normative input digests, full Agent/Tmux defaults and fresh nonce-proof acquisition.
  • Python 3.11+; jsonschema >=4.26,<5. Optional WSS remains an independent extra/selection. Core Mesh has no Observer dependency.

The accepted wheel is unchanged: SHA256 73455186e187198c8e44b6ae6c381926809931a176f17614864141c62ff850c2. Check SHA256SUMS and provenance.json before installing. This is a GitHub prerelease; there is no PyPI publication.

Producer qualification records installed/native/IPC/SSH/WSS and controlled scaling bounds. RLCD integration separately records configured fleet, deployment, measured live CPU and paired rollback. Physical RLCD checks remain deferred because USB was absent.

The active route requires explicit source/profile binding and the new Observer service artifact. Partial omission, expired positives and pruned/missed negatives do not retire uncertain presentation context. No digest-proof, replay/delta, prior-identity query or new UI timeout is introduced. Publication does not change installed services or provider/session state.

@byebyebryan byebyebryan released this 12 Oct 07:05
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Mesh Plus 0.1.0a15 publishes the accepted generic cached publisher/factory seam and optional native WSS transport. It retains SDK interface 1 and existing Read/Delivery/native profile schemas. Contract lock revision 2 adds the separately reviewed WSS configuration/carrier boundary.

  • Public CachedSource, CachedPublication and explicit-profile CachedPublisher separate Observer-native acquisition from Mesh envelope/proof construction.
  • Trusted, lazy Python publisher factory maps serve local IPC, the unchanged fixed SSH bridge command and optional WSS listeners. Existing reference defaults remain; selected factory failures do not fall back.
  • Optional mesh-plus[wss] adds native mutual-TLS poll/push, immutable mixed-backend configuration, and the separate mesh-plus-wss diagnostic/listener/read/watch CLI. WSS adoption is explicit.

Accepted bytes: mesh_plus-0.1.0a15-py3-none-any.whl, SHA256 42b25045f8f89afda61e56525f443a189dcc6769637aee5bcab959f096527f0f. The previously accepted private wheel is published unchanged. provenance.json binds release commit, runtime checkpoint and exclusions; SHA256SUMS covers wheel and provenance.

Validation: 113 installed standalone tests, 151 native/SSH regressions and 43 native WSS tests; installed publisher checks on Python 3.11/3.13/3.14, both domain profiles and fixed SSH/WSS carriers; a15 explicit-reader/a10 reference-bridge compatibility; four hosted CI jobs passed. Reviewed native regression inputs are Tmux a5/Agent a16, not current owner HEADs or extracted sources.

This is an experimental prerelease. No live pins, Observer packages, shared launcher or chezmoi deployment are selected by publication. Owner-native publisher/resource/managed acceptance and WSS real-fleet, suspend and matched performance acceptance remain separate. No performance improvement for the promoted bytes is claimed.

Assets are distributed through this GitHub prerelease; no PyPI publication is implied. Install the downloaded wheel into an isolated Python 3.11+ environment. Add [wss] to that wheel requirement only when selecting the optional backend.

Require explicit passing outcomes for every owner conformance case, rejecting expected failures, unexpected successes and failed/skipped subtests. Add actual pushed update and publisher restart scenarios through owned IPC, with local and remote-proof bindings, original receipts and clean retirement.

Validation: 104 standalone tests, 141 pinned native/SSH tests, 35 installed conformance cases and 36 a12 differential selections; no skips. SDK v1, frozen wire/schema, transport and authority remain unchanged. This release does not deploy or select live artifacts.

Opt-in owner conformance interface v1 is packaged for pure profile and owned IPC/SSH testing. Explicit doctor --sdk diagnostics v2 and cached assess evidence samples preserve existing acquisition diagnostics.

The runtime API, frozen wire/schema bytes and SSH authority remain unchanged. Source: b46a66d60fc236ba5daaa427e13e2ec7120d31d6.

Validation: isolated wheel passes 100 standalone tests without Observer packages and 136 native/SSH tests against Tmux Observer 0.6.0a5 / Agent Observer 0.5.0a16, with no skips. External installed conformance passes 31 cases; 36 differential selections equal a11; 82 SSH Plus regressions pass. CI is green on Python 3.11/3.13. A 64-run descriptive IPC/SSH comparison supports retaining the current core; no performance optimization is accepted.

Mesh SDK interface v1: explicit pure profiles and bound codecs across configured IPC/SSH, fleet polling/push, validation/reconstruction and guards. Existing defaults remain compatible; frozen wire/schema and SSH authority bytes are unchanged.

Snapshot cancellation now waits for every owned sibling cleanup, including repeated cancellation. Independent SDK conformance and pinned-a10 native projection comparisons are included.

This prerelease is a networking SDK handoff. It does not select live artifacts or migrate Observer adapters, providers or Plus consumers.

Mesh Plus 0.1.0a8 adds bounded watch-channel rotation and redacted transport diagnostics. The frozen Read/Delivery contract and schema bytes are unchanged.

Reader revokes the old host view before reconnecting at the handle budget; existing subscription credit/cancel remain usable. read --metrics and watch --metrics emit final counters to stderr.

Validated standalone on Python 3.11 and against pure Tmux/Agent facades on Python 3.13, with owned IPC/SSH rotation and cleanup tests. Consumer adoption and operational acceptance are independent gates.

Fix the library catalog input race: parse bytes from the same checked regular-file descriptor, and cap actual reads at four MiB plus one overflow-detection byte. Growth and pathname replacement can no longer bypass the bound. Canonical process reader/writer behavior and frozen wire schemas remain compatible.

Validation: 96 source and exact installed native/SSH tests; 82 SSH Plus compatibility regressions against the selected authority; deterministic wheel rebuild with complete source payload verification. The paired Tmux rollout records its separate operational gates.
