Windows: Download .exe installer and run it Linux: Download .AppImage for your architecture and run it
If you want to compile it yourself for any platform:
- Install NodeJS and pnpm
- Open command prompt
- If you know what is git then clone GoofCord repo:
git clone https://github.com/Milkshiift/GoofCord
Otherwise donwload source code using big green button on top of the page and extract the source code - Open source code directory using
cd [DIRECTORY LOCATION]
- Run
pnpm install
to install dependencies - Compile/Package with
pnpm run packageWindows
orpnpm run packageLinux
- You can find compiled app in
dist
folder
- You are breaking Discord ToS by using GoofCord, but no one has been banned from using it or any of the client mods.
- Multiple ways:
- Right-click on the tray icon and click
Open Settings
- Open Discord settings and scroll down until you see information about versions. Click on the GoofCord version and the settings window will pop out.
- Press

- GoofCord is designed to be more minimalistic by intentionally removing features that are not essential for most users. Its main focus is on prioritizing privacy, even though there may be limited scope for enhancing it further.
