Works without a key

Connect to https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp with no key and every tool runs on the public demo:

  • 20 requests per IP per day (shared with the demo REST API and WebSocket)
  • data delayed 15 minutes, at most 5 rows per list
  • results carry a demo block, and the model is told the data is not live

When the budget is used up, tools return demo_limit_reached with the link to a free test key (1000 real-time requests).

Also

  • The caller's IP is forwarded as X-Real-IP, so every user has their own demo budget. Self-hosters on the API's machine should set CABALSPY_API_BASE=http://127.0.0.1:8082.
  • get_started describes the demo and the keyless endpoints on demo-api.cabalspy.xyz.
  • New setting CABALSPY_DEMO_KEY (default demo).
