• This release modernizes the build, release and documentation. The tools behave as in v0.0.98 except for the one fix below.
• Fixed four malformed struct tags that go vet reported (config.go, eprintrest.go). EPrintRest now decodes db_host, db_user and db_password from JSON, and a debug: key in a YAML configuration no longer sets Config.Debug; it is a command line flag only.
• A fresh clone builds: version.go is committed again (a clean checkout failed with undefined: Version).
• The Makefile: build, test and install no longer run cmt, so building needs only git, make, go and pandoc. cmt runs only from make generate and make release.
• make release builds one zip per platform (Linux, macOS and Windows, on x86_64 and arm64) and release-check fails when a zip lacks a program or carries a stale version or manual page. The 32-bit Raspberry Pi (Linux-armv7l) build is dropped; a Pi is supported as Linux-aarch64.
• release.bash and release.ps1 were rewritten and share one test driver (make test-release).
• Tests: make test is offline; the tests that need an RDM or Postgres configuration skip themselves, and the ones that call public APIs (DataCite, CrossRef, ROR) run only with make test-live.
• Documentation sources moved to docs/ and are published by the shared workflow; the Python scripts and the irdm package moved to scripts/; working notes moved to the workspace; the site hostname is software.library.caltech.edu.
• codemeta.json is CodeMeta 4.0 and no longer lists CMTools as a requirement.
