Buying
Right-click someone's shop, or either half of a double chest shop, to see its offers. You never reach the container itself; you trade through the menu.
Each row is one offer. On the left is what you pay, up to two items; then the offer's status; then what you get, up to three items:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| In stock | You can buy it now. |
| Out of stock | The shop doesn't have enough of what it gives. Hover to see what's missing. |
| You can't afford this | You don't have everything the offer asks for. Hover to see what you still need. |
| Your inventory is full | What you'd get won't fit in your inventory. |
| This shop is full | Your payment won't fit in the shop's container. |
Click Buy at the end of a row to trade once. Each click is one trade.
Before anything moves, Stall checks the whole trade: that you have the payment, that the shop has the stock, and that both sides have room. If any part fails, nothing changes. You never pay without getting your items, and items are never dropped because an inventory was almost full.
Payments are taken from your main inventory before your hotbar.
An offer asking for an item wants exactly that item. An enchanted, renamed or damaged item doesn't count as a plain one, and the other way round.
To place a block against a shop, sneak while holding the block. Sneaking with empty hands still opens the shop's menu, like vanilla containers.
