Conker: Live & Recompiled 0.1.5
Conker's shadow is back, plus fixes for the Bull fight, the poo pool and distant grass.
Fixed
- Shadows are back (issue #8): Character shadows were missing. Every character casts its shadow again, as on the Xbox.
- Bull fight texture jump (issue #8): in the bull episode, when you ride him and use Charge against a cow, there was a small jump in the textures. This only happened with the Pop-in Fix on, not without it: blades of grass were flung across the screen by the grass's "bend away from the camera" effect, which goes wrong in that arena. That effect is now off everywhere.
- Blue strip in the poo pool (issue #8): after finishing and filling the pool with poop, when you dive to the bottom, a small strip of blue water texture was shown instead of the brown poop texture. The underwater haze is now brown in the poo.
- Distant grass stood out: distant grass turned on by the Pop-in Fix was often much more prominent than everything near it (e.g. the farm plot seen from the bridge by the gargoyle), and it popped in and out when you paused and resumed. It now gets the same haze as the ground around it.
New
- Underwater Overlay on/off (F2 → Picture → Underwater Overlay, or the launcher's Settings tab): the shimmering haze around Conker under water, which shows as a band at eye level. Off = a clear view under water. On by default, as the original.
- Poo Fix (under it, on by default): the brown haze in the poo pool. Off = the original blue band. Normal water is never changed.

Conker: Live & Recompiled 0.1.4
Much lower CPU load: the game now uses about a third of the CPU that 0.1.3 did.
Improved
- Lower CPU load (issue #11): in 0.1.3, three parts of the game kept checking nonstop whether something was done, each keeping a CPU core busy even when there was nothing to do: the game waiting for the graphics side each frame, the graphics side waiting for new work, and the screen-refresh handling. All three now sleep until they are needed. In a test at 60 fps the game used about 0.8 CPU cores instead of 2.2, with the same frame rate. Laptops should run cooler and quieter.
Updating from 0.1.3

Conker: Live & Recompiled 0.1.3
Now truly portable, plus language selection and switches for the vignette and screen drops.
New
- Now truly portable: saves, settings, photos and logs now live in a
userdatafolder next toconker.exe, so the whole game folder can be moved, copied or backed up in one go. Each save has its own named folder (Game1,Game2,Game3, and one per multiplayer profile). Your files from older versions move over from AppData by themselves, and if a save is in both places the launcher asks which one to keep. Prefer AppData? Choose it on the launcher's Files tab. - Language selection (F2 → Language, or the launcher's Settings tab): English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Japanese for the game's text, menus and subtitles. Applies the next time the game starts. Voices are English in every language. Saves made in one language load in all the others.
- Vignette on/off (F2 → Picture → Vignette, or the launcher's Settings tab): turns off the dark corners round the picture in some levels (e.g. Chemical Warfare). On by default, as the original.
- Screen drops on/off (F2 → Picture → Screen drops, or the launcher's Settings tab): turns off the water and blood drops that land on the screen and the streaks they leave. On by default, as the original.
Updating from 0.1.2

Conker: Live & Recompiled 0.1.2
Pop-in Fix options, experimental ambient particles, and a photo mode fix.
New
- Pop-in Fix options (F2 → Display, or the launcher's Settings tab): while the Pop-in Fix is on, its parts can each be turned on or off: Grass & flowers, Characters and Fur (all on by default).
- Ambient Particles (experimental), under the Pop-in Fix, off by default: falling leaves, fluff and dust fill the whole area instead of only a small box around the camera. A Particle density slider (0–100 %, default 15 %) sets how many. Still rough in places: in photo mode the particles stay bunched around Conker instead of spreading over the whole level, and they can show in open air when the photo camera flies outside the level.
Fixes
- Photo mode: changing the render resolution in F2 while photo mode is on no longer stretches the picture. The view reshapes at once.

Conker: Live & Recompiled 0.1.1
Fixes for the Modern controller layout, and rumble.
New
- Rumble on Xbox and PlayStation controllers, as on the Xbox.
- Slingshot Aim (Modern layout; F3 → Single player, or the launcher's Controls tab): Hold (as before: hold the aim button on a slingshot pad) or Toggle (press the context button to turn the slingshot aim on and off, as in the Classic layout).
Fixes (Modern layout)
- Heist – Enter the Vertex: the context pads that start the slow-motion jumps now work the normal way. Stand on the pad with your weapon aimed (Left Trigger / Mouse 2), press B / E to start the slow-mo jump, and shoot with Right Trigger / Mouse 1, no need to hold the aim button.
- Enter the Vertex: Conker no longer starts the level aimed, and he stops aiming when he lands from a slow-mo jump unless you're holding the aim button.
- Photo mode while aiming: letting go of the aim button in photo mode (or the pause menu) now stops aiming when you return. Holding it through keeps Conker aiming.
