stemLM v1.0.0 — Chrome Extension (Manifest V3)

First stable release of stemLM, a structured STEM study overlay for Gemini.

Install (unpacked)

1. Download stemlm-1.0.0-chrome.zip from the Assets section below.
2. Unzip it to a folder on your computer.
3. Open Chrome → chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode (top right).
5. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder (it must contain manifest.json at the top level).
6. Open gemini.google.com — the stemLM button appears beside the chat composer.

• Manifest V3 production build (minified, no tests or source maps in the package)
• Split-screen study panel with step cards, KaTeX math, SVG/Mermaid diagrams
• One-click protocol injection + stemlm-protocol.txt file attach on Gemini
• Quick-checks, Ask in chat follow-ups, session save, vector PDF export
• Popup: open panel, load conversation, saved sessions
• Options: theme, split ratio, prompt variant, analytics opt-out

Requirements

• Google Chrome 116+ (or Chromium-based browser with MV3 support)
• gemini.google.com — the only supported host

Privacy

No server, no login. Questions and answers stay in your browser except when sent to Gemini. Optional analytics are off by default. See Privacy Policy.
