Captures can now run a QuickAdd choice, so each timestamp goes exactly where you want it, such as the end of a ## Notes section in the episode's note. Pick one of your own choices, or let PodNotes create a ready-made one.
To update, open Settings → Community plugins, click Check for updates, and then Update next to PodNotes.
Capture with QuickAdd
A capture used to insert the timestamp at your cursor. Now you can set a QuickAdd choice in Settings → PodNotes, under Notes, and every capture runs it instead: Capture Timestamp, Capture Last 10 Seconds, Capture Last 20 Seconds, the player's capture buttons, and the headset or lock-screen capture.
- Choose... opens QuickAdd's own picker, so you can type to find any of your choices.
- Create adds a Capture choice named Podcast capture that appends each timestamp to a
## Notessection in the episode's note. You can change it in QuickAdd like any other choice.
A choice can use the capture's values as {{VALUE:<name>}}: timestamp, time, seconds, link, episode, podcast, url and episodeNote. None of them contains a private feed's address.
If QuickAdd can't run the choice, the capture writes nothing, and a notice says what to do: install, enable or update QuickAdd, or choose another choice. Renaming the choice in QuickAdd keeps it working. Exported settings carry the choice to another vault. This needs QuickAdd 2.33.0 or later (#511).
