mediatomb

A Docker container for running Mediatomb, a free and open source UPnP media server.

$ sudo docker run --rm --net="host" -v /dev/urandom:/dev/urandom -v /dev/random:/dev/random -p 50500:50500 chimeracoder/mediatomb

Of course, you will need to mount the directories containing the media you wish to share. For example:

$ sudo docker run --rm --net="host" -v /dev/urandom:/dev/urandom -v /dev/random:/dev/random -v ~/Video:/media/Video -p 50500:50500 chimeracoder/mediatomb

Note that the --net="host" flag is required to enable service discovery as per the UPnP protocol. For more information on Docker networking, please read the Network Configuration documentation.
