Updates

• 1.8.2 is released with multi-bus updates, txt utility
• AMD support work still in progress
• Still working on some UEFI shell issue(s) related to PR #1394. Would be interested in more testing on newer platforms. Just create a new EFI folder and use the branch.

Future Work Updates

• Logging changes planned for next (minor) release (maybe 1.9.0). NOTE: Possible deprecation of old logging methods in this upcoming release.
• John will start a Github Discussion on Linux Driver (Helper) Signing. There are some security issues that anyone signing the driver needs to think through. We'll use that channel to discuss and record.
• Brent will talk through chipsec 2.0 config changes at next meeting
• John will start a Github Discussion on LVFS HSI and possible applications to chipsec.

Future Work Planning

• 1.9.0 - Logging changes
• 1.10.0 - Linux helper, Register Error/checking updates
• 1.11.0 - Multi-bus changes/updates
• 1.12.0 - Optional config loading
• 1.??.0 - Tentative Library and HAL changes (TBD)

• Local run and Log parsing & display. Looking to improve ease of use.
