v2.0.0

saasmail 2.0 brings a new design, Gmail- and Outlook-style layouts, per-user Trash, Undo Send, and star, pin, archive and snooze. It also removes some old paths, so read this before upgrading.

Upgrading

Upgrade with npx saasmail@latest upgrade. It applies migrations 0048–0050 (per-user mail state, preferences and trash). Like every saasmail migration, they cannot be undone; rolling the Worker back leaves the new tables in place, and older code ignores them.

Breaking changes

• npx saasmail adopt is removed, along with status --from <checkout>. Installs that were already adopted are unaffected. A clone or hand-made install that was never adopted must adopt with the 1.x CLI first (npx saasmail@1 adopt …), or keep updating its checkout with git (Forks and modified code).
• Delete no longer deletes for everyone. In every layout, Delete moves a conversation to the user's own Trash, with Undo. Removing a person and all their mail for the whole team is now Delete forever or Empty Trash inside Trash, for admins only. DELETE /api/people/:id is unchanged.
• GET /api/stats counts conversations, not messages. unreadCount and inboxUnread now count the unread conversations in the caller's Inbox, leaving out what that user archived, snoozed or trashed. inboxUnread omits inboxes with no unread mail instead of returning 0.
• GET /api/outbox rejects a bare timestamp cursor with a 400. Pass back the nextCursor it returned.
• /?search= links no longer filter the inbox. Use /?q=.
• Some layout settings reset once. The conversation-list width, inbox sort and "Hide signatures in chat" now follow the account instead of the browser; values a browser saved before are not carried over.

Everything else in the API is additive. Sending, templates, sequences and webhooks are unchanged. See the CHANGELOG for the full list.
