• shipshape keeps itself and your plugins updated on a machine without jq. Claude Code leaves auto-update off for marketplaces outside Anthropic's own, and shipshape's session-start hook needs jq to turn it on. Without jq, shipshape stayed on the version you first installed, along with your other plugins. It now downloads jq 1.8.2 into its data directory, checked against a pinned SHA-256. If that fails, a banner tells you to install jq or turn auto-update on in /plugin → Marketplaces.
• An upgrade asks about your claude.ai-synced skills once. Answering that you maintain none of them now records each as skip, and a recorded skill stays out of the question, so the next upgrade doesn't ask again.
• Plugin reports show n/a when a plugin has no version number.
