On first start, open Settings → Accounts. Agenoras has three kinds of accounts. Add only the ones you need.

Email account (IMAP/SMTP)

Click + Email account and fill in:

  • Display name: the name others see as the sender (e.g. your name or company)
  • Email and Password
  • IMAP server and SMTP server with ports
  • SSL/TLS: on for port 465, off for STARTTLS on port 587

Click Connect →. Agenoras checks the login right away and loads your folders.

Calendar account (CalDAV)

Click + CalDAV account, enter a name, the Server URL, your username and password. All calendars and task lists on that server appear automatically.

Contacts account (CardDAV)

Click + CardDAV account and fill in the same fields as for CalDAV.

Server addresses for common providers

Provider Settings
Gmail IMAP imap.gmail.com, SMTP smtp.gmail.com. Use an app password, not your normal password.
Nextcloud CalDAV and CardDAV: https://<your-server>/remote.php/dav
iCloud CalDAV https://caldav.icloud.com, CardDAV https://contacts.icloud.com. Use an app password from your Apple ID settings.

Not supported yet: Microsoft 365 / Outlook.com and Google Calendar/Contacts need OAuth2 sign-in, which Agenoras doesn't support yet.

To change an account later, click Edit next to it. Leave the password field empty to keep the current password.
