v1.22.41
v1.22.40
- A dungeon name in
/waygoes to its entrance's zone./way wail 50 50answered "no zone called wail" because only zone names were searched. A name that matches only a dungeon or raid, such as Wailing Caverns, now plans the journey to the outdoor zone its entrance sits in, The Barrens, and a name that could be two dungeons names both instead of guessing.
v1.22.39
- The walking route line can be another colour. The line on the minimap and the world map has a colour choice in
/pathsettings, with gold, white, cyan, green and magenta presets. Gold stays the default, so nothing changes unless you pick one. Thanks to Oxds on CurseForge for the idea. - Controller and keyboard players can bind the journey actions. Key Bindings > AddOns now has Travel to my map pin, Travel to my tracked quest and Clear journey, so a controller button or a key reaches what used to need a Shift-click, through the same planning the map uses. Thanks to sean16981 for the idea.
- The departures switch says what it hides. The tracker option is now named Show boat, lift and tram departures in the tracker, and right-clicking the section header while departures show has a Hide departures entry that turns the same option off. Thanks to a player on CurseForge for the report.
- A dock at a capital's gate pins to the zone it stands in. The zeppelin to Stranglethorn Vale drew at the bottom of the Orgrimmar city map instead of the tower outside the gate, and the Stormwind boat dock had the same fault, because the client's capital maps sit beside their zones rather than inside them. A boat or zeppelin pin, and the map it opens from the tracker or its tooltip, now uses the zone the dock stands in, and appears on the capital map only where the point falls inside it, while the stop still reads as Orgrimmar or Stormwind City. Thanks to Stiandresius for the report.
v1.22.38
- The world map's pins look like the client's own. Portals wear the game's teleport marker instead of a Legion-era door, and the extra glow rings around hovered route ends, journey stops and super-tracked flight points are gone, leaving each pin with only the art the game gives it.
v1.22.37
- The Hearthstone no longer wins a short walk. Standing beside the inn you are bound to, a journey could still start with "Use Hearthstone" for a goal a few steps past it, because the hearth's cost counted only its cast. A teleport now also pays its loading screen, and a Hearthstone must save at least 20 seconds over walking before the journey suggests it, so short walks stay on foot and long trips still take the hearth.
v1.22.36
- A cleaner zeppelin icon. Zeppelin docks, route steps, the compass and the minimap now draw a bolder zeppelin with thick lines and a black outline, matching the boat icon beside it, so it stays readable at minimap size.
v1.22.35
- The journey column steps aside for EQ Objective Tracker. EQ Objective Tracker hides the game's quest tracker and draws its own list in that same slot, so its quests and the Forever sections drew over each other and neither could be read. The column now asks EQOT where its list is through EQOT's public API and re-places itself below, above or beside it after every redraw, and reads EQOT's own frame the same way when that API is not there. Turn EQOT off and the column goes back where it was.
v1.22.34
- A zeppelin is drawn as a zeppelin, not a boat. Zeppelin docks borrowed the game's boat icon on the world map, the compass and the minimap, so a tower sending you to Stranglethorn looked like a ferry. Zeppelins now have their own airship icon; boats keep the ferry one.
- Every zeppelin tower stays hoverable as you zoom the map. Zooming into Durotar and hovering the towers outside Orgrimmar could make one of their pins vanish, losing its tooltip and route highlight until the map was reopened. Re-clustering on a zoom now keeps every tower in that town addressable at every zoom level.
v1.22.33
- A mage in your group can shorten a journey. An opt-in Party mage portals setting adds "ask for a portal" to a capital city when that beats walking there, using the capital portals in the shipped mage teleport data. It only appears while another mage is in your party or raid, only for the capitals you tick, and only for your faction. It is off by default, and the hop disappears on the next plan when the mage leaves or you turn the setting off.
v1.22.32
-
The guided waypoint says where it leads. Hovering the pin the game places at the end of the current step, on the minimap or the world map, now names the flight master, boat, portal or place the step reaches instead of the client's generic "Map Pin". When the step is only a hop, the journey's own destination sits under it. A pin you place yourself keeps the game's own tooltip.

A short trip can now change to a quicker way as you walk. A followed route only gave way to one saving at least 30 seconds and a tenth of the time left, and nothing can save 30 seconds on a trip under half a minute, so a clearly better way found as you moved never took over. It now gives way for a saving of a tenth of the trip left or 30 seconds, whichever is the smaller, so short trips follow their best route without flip-flopping.
