OpenPuzzle 1.0.49 — Vanity CUDA
OpenPuzzle 1.0.49 — Vanity CUDA
Vanity joins BitCrack, KeyHunt and Kangaroo in the ordinary Linux client.
The existing Start, Stop, Resume, Safe Stop, status and telemetry controls are
shared. The application version is now visible below the desktop subtitle.
Vanity automatically benchmarks each GPU before its first assignment and saves
the measured profile. Ranges retain the ordinary target duration of about one
hour. Consecutive native blocks belong to the same server assignment; Safe Stop
finishes that assignment and blocks the next claim.
CUDA rigs use the existing supervisor:
openpuzzle run 71 --engine vanity --backend cuda --devices allEach GPU has its own assignment, execution slot and physical UUID binding.
Vanity in this Linux release supports CUDA and linear P2PKH puzzles 65–80.
Found keys use the common private wallet export and solution notification path.
Only the assignment and client identifiers are reported; private keys remain local.
Validation: the affected suites passed with their existing JUnit evidence.
A real RTX 4070 SUPER found a known test address through the ordinary client;
the exact key, private wallet export, engine termination and local HTTP solution
notification were verified. Multi-GPU supervision was validated with synthetic
engines; real multi-GPU rig acceptance and a production website solution notice
have not been verified. Previous Linux/platform results are preserved evidence,
not a newly rerun full test suite.
Install or update
Use Safe Stop to finish active work and close the application before installing.
Verify SHA256SUMS, then:
sudo apt install ./OpenPuzzle-1.0.49-Linux-x86_64.debThe portable updater DEB is byte-identical to the regular DEB. TGZ and matching
source archives are included. Profiles, checkpoints and private solution files
are not release assets. Windows remains on its separate test release.
