OSpec 1.9.9 syncs the proposal's affects scopes into state.json at archive time for both profiles, so a frozen classic archive no longer shows an empty affects array that tempts AI sessions into hand-editing archived metadata. The skills and protocol documents now state explicitly that everything under changes/archived/ is frozen evidence.

Improved

  • Ordinary and force archives copy the proposal.md frontmatter affects scopes into the archived state.json (the goal bootstrap already synced them during execution; classic fast-flow changes previously archived with an empty array). proposal.md remains the authority the knowledge index extracts from, so existing archives lose nothing.
  • The change and goal skills plus the four-language execution-protocol documents now teach: never edit anything under changes/archived/ — archive-time metadata is synced by the CLI, residual inconsistencies should be reported instead of rewritten, and the knowledge index self-heals its cache from the authoritative documents.
