v0.1.1
v0.1.1 - The first stable version
Changes
- Renamed Tryptamine file extension to .tr instead of .tryp
- Renamed tryp.cpp to tr.cpp
- Renamed Synapse package manager to Axon
- Renamed Synapse package repo to Axon
- Packages are now in the path, being integrated into std
- Cleaned up conditionals in Axon
- Changed trypV to _V
This is the first stable release. I don't know where I will take this project, but I do love making it.
Running from source
DEPENDENCIES
g++ and python
- Clone the repo using git
cd Tryptamine- Open
src/path - You can leave it blank, it just means you'll get an error the first time you run it, after that, it add
stdto the path list - I would suggest adding
./stdbefore running though.
The
pathfile allows for a list of user defined paths, std will be added to the file if it isn't found however, as things like the Axon (the package manager) are written in 100% Tryptamine. I tried to self-host as many programs I could.
- Build
tr.cppandaxon.cpp. These are routing files that while technically not needed, are pretty important.
py src/run.py main.tr -> Runs main.tr
py src/run.py src/axon.tr install test -> Installs the test package from the Axon repository
py src/shell.py -> Starts shell
is very verbose and a pain to type out, instead, do g++ tr.cpp -o tr.exe && g++ axon.cpp -o axon.exe and now:
tr main.r -> Runs main.tr
axon install test -> Installs the test package from the Axon repository
tr -> Starts the tryptamine shell
