Important

Package ID Migration Notice — Clean Re-install Required

  • Old Package ID: com.dev.bitchord
  • New Official Package ID: com.chordplay.music

Action Required:
Because Android treats different package IDs as separate apps, please uninstall your previous ChordPlay build (v1.x) and install ChordPlay v2.0.0 fresh.
This migration gives ChordPlay its own independent Android application ID (com.chordplay.music), preventing package collision or installation conflicts with BitChord and ensuring seamless future updates!

Notice

  • Official Production Package (com.chordplay.music):

    • Independent Android application ID eliminates package conflicts with BitChord and allows both apps to coexist side-by-side.

  • it might have bugs as package name got updated. It you find them let me know.
