Cortex-MCP v1.1.0 Release Notes

New Features

  1. Semantic & Polarity Contradiction Auditor (src/cortex_mcp/contradictions.py):
    • Scans active facts in BiTemporalMemoryGraph to detect unresolved logical contradictions:
      • Negation polarity inversions (allows_mtls vs disallows_mtls / does_not_*).
      • Opposing technical antonym objects (enabled vs disabled, encrypted vs plaintext, stateful vs stateless, synchronous vs asynchronous).
      • Predicate alias collisions (uses_token_format vs token_format vs auth_token).
      • Unsuperseded multi-value drift.
    • Emits a structured ContradictionAuditReport with severity ratings and supports auto_resolve=True to deterministically supersede older or lower-confidence conflicting facts.
  2. Grounded Citation Bundle Exporter for truthgate (src/cortex_mcp/grounding_export.py):
    • Exports compiled context packets or active graph items as a codesphere-u/truthgate-compatible SourceDocument JSON bundle (source_id = fact_id, title, content, metadata with temporal provenance and SHA-256 Merkle root graph_merkle_digest) for zero stale-fact leakage verification.
  3. CLI & MCP Server Extensions (cli.py, server.py, mcp_server.py):
    • CLI: cortex-mcp audit-contradictions [--auto-resolve] [--json] and cortex-mcp export-sources [--query ...] [--output sources.json].
    • MCP Tool: Added cortex_audit_contradictions to CortexMCPServer.
  4. Expanded Test Suite:
    • 84 passing pytest tests across Python 3.10, 3.11, and 3.12 (up from 67 in v1.0.0).
