This release improves tracing for paused and resumed runs in the Agent SDK. Resumed work now stays in the same trace session and records human and client-tool decisions, with no migration or special upgrade steps required.

Highlights

  • Keep paused and resumed work in one trace session
    When a run pauses for approvals, user questions, or client tools, the resumed work now continues in the same trace session instead of appearing split across sessions. This makes traces easier to follow end to end.
  • Record human and client-tool decisions in traces
    Traces now include decision events for approvals, questions, and client-tool resumes. This gives operators and developers better visibility into why a paused run continued.
