This release adds live reasoning streaming and a request-level control for reasoning effort in Agent Server. It is a customer-facing API update with no migration required, so most upgrades are a straightforward image swap unless you want to adopt the new fields and events.

Highlights

  • Stream agent reasoning live (#8)
    Hosts can now emit a live stream.thinking event, and clients can consume reasoning updates as work progresses. The API also exposes AgentInfo.showReasoning so clients can tell whether reasoning is available.
  • Set reasoning effort per request (#8)
    Clients can now send a validated reasoningEffort field to request the desired reasoning effort level for a call.
