Fixed

  • Music no longer stops a while after a skip. Sometimes, after a skip, the sound stopped although Spotify still showed the song as playing, and it came back only on its own or after opening Spotify. Android was freezing the restarted Spotify as an idle background app. Hush now keeps the restarted Spotify process from being frozen (Android 14 and later).

Changed

  • Music comes back a little sooner: play is pressed the moment Spotify is ready, and setup work now overlaps Spotify's start.
  • The "music back in" time is now when the music actually started.
  • Slow or failed skips show their timeline in the activity log, which makes bug reports much easier to act on.

Update by installing Hush-1.0.2.apk over the existing app; your settings and permissions are kept.
