Coco 2.42.0-rc.4
Fixes an isolated greeting such as hola causing bash_exec with printf and an unnecessary approval prompt. The base prompt, compact-model instructions, verification/concurrency enhancers and no-tool recovery now distinguish direct conversational replies from external actions.
- Isolated Spanish/English greetings, thanks and farewells expose no tools and reject model-invented calls before confirmation/execution, in both the REPL and reusable runtime, including preconfirmed tools.
- Mixed requests, attachments and ambiguous continuations retain tools. Polite action questions retain action recovery; explanatory answers do not get pushed into unnecessary tool retries.
- Greeting normalization is linear and limited to short input.

c4cc208418239c8f909ff72e650883c44a3ca330, tagv2.42.0-rc.4, PR #220. - CI tarball SHA-256:
b8683d6b9a80740a6dbe9c75eb6b8f388b57d4ed238abda67a232b98187ee2fb. Registry integrity matches the exact verified artifact. - Full gate passed: typecheck, lint, format, 8,411 main tests, 28 REPL tests and build; statement coverage 80.25%.
- Full dependency audit: zero known advisories. PR CI, CodeQL and Snyk passed.
- Clean installation from npm verified the CLI, public exports, a real file-tool runtime turn, rejection of invented/preconfirmed tools for isolated social messages and preservation of tool execution for mixed requests.
- VSIX/Marketplace: not published in this delivery.
Regression provider responses are scripted; no paid live-provider evaluation is claimed. Deterministic social-message recognition is limited to isolated Spanish/English phrases; general questions may still need external tools. Stable promotion remains pending the practical evaluation in docs/evolution/REMAINING_DELIVERIES.md. Diagnosis and scope: docs/evolution/CONVERSATIONAL_RC4.md.
