Bug Fixes
-
CXXCBC-1112: Embedded Mozilla CA Bundle -- The extension embeds every certificate of the Mozilla CA bundle again.
- Since 2026-10-20, the curl.se bundle puts a
# Fingerprint (SHA-256):line between each certificate's name and its PEM block. - Core 1.5.0 extracted no certificate from that format. The 3.9.0 source gem carries a bundle in this format, and the precompiled gems were built from it. None embeds a Mozilla certificate.

Known Issues
- grpc on Windows x64 --
grpc1.85.0 publishes nox64-mingw-ucrtgem. Bundler then builds it from source, and that build failed to link in CI.- Adding
gem "grpc", "< 1.85"to the application's Gemfile selects 1.84.1, which ships a prebuilt gem. - The Windows arm64 gem does not depend on
grpcand is not affected.
- Adding
Build and Test Infrastructure
- The RubyGems step of the release publishing script no longer raises
NoMethodErrorbefore pushing any gem. - On Windows x64, the development Gemfile keeps
grpcbelow 1.85.
