Terminal Math Renderer 0.2.0-preview.30
Pre-releaseFirst public Windows x64 preview of Terminal Math Renderer, the Agent Math companion for Windows Terminal.
Render supported formulas from Codex CLI and Claude Code in place while continuing to use the original terminal, input, output, selection, and copying workflow.
Download and use
- Install
AgentMath-0.2.0-preview.30-Setup.exe, or extract the portable ZIP completely and runAgentMath.exe. - Use
codexorclaudein Windows Terminal as usual. - For Claude mathematical code blocks and optional Codex inline math, enable Inline and unmarked math (preview) (
行内与无标记公式(预览)) in the tray menu. This option is off by default.
No Node.js, browser, Tabby, or separate LaTeX installation is needed. Existing agent sessions can continue. The application is currently unsigned.
Included
- Codex display LaTeX and supported display environments.
- Claude mathematical code blocks without standard math delimiters, including custom functions, compound subscripts, continued equalities, and short annotations.
- Source verification, selection-to-source behavior, lazy history rendering, bounded caches, and streaming/status redraw stability.
- English and Chinese usage documentation, with real Windows Terminal before/after captures of synthetic examples.
Unsupported, clipped, ambiguous, or oversized expressions remain as text. Claude unmarked recognition currently targets mathematical code blocks, rather than arbitrary formulas inside ordinary prose.
Validation and scope
Locally verified with Windows Terminal 1.24.12741.0, Codex 0.166.0, and Claude Code 2.1.317 on Windows x64 with an opaque background and a single display/DPI.
The preview passed 141 TypeScript tests, 14 browser checks, native core/worker checks, ten installer checks (including real directory locks and Windows short-path update/uninstall), Claude desktop replay, and Codex interaction/streaming regressions. The eight-expression GSPO case was also checked in an existing Claude session. These results cover the documented conditions and examples, rather than every terminal configuration.
See the README and detailed validation. SHA256SUMS.txt contains checksums for both application downloads.
Fresh Windows GitHub Actions verification passed for release commit 4acee24b6d9a9d44a093f7177956da5d32ecb08f: Verify run.
