Swipe Soundboard

Kimball Leavitt edited this page Sep 20, 2019 · 2 revisions

Life is more fun with a soundboard, (for anyone who doesn't know what that means, think all the silly sound effects that sitcoms and YouTubers use during their shows, laugh tracks, badump tsh, sad trombone sounds, silly music clips, etc).

However, creating and using a soundboard is challenging, time-consuming, and requires more effort than most people have to expend on something that's just for fun.

Enter Swipe Soundboard: A screen-within-a-screen widget on your phone that takes your finger swipes/shapes (think all the different ways to swipe through that 9-dot unlock) and plays the appropriate sound-bite for the situation.

The app would initially come with a standard library of mappable sound-bites. Map your favorites and always have a silly sound to go with a silly situation.

Future goals would be the ability to add mp3s up to 5 sec long (if we get to that). Then potentially more "online library" functionality if the project progresses to that point.
