Third release. Focus: LEARN mode difficulty tuning now changes lesson bite size, not just wording, and personal learner artifacts stay out of git.

LEARN mode

  • Difficulty now controls bite size as well as vocabulary, term count, and depth.
  • Levels 1-2 explicitly teach one tiny idea per turn, usually 1-2 terms, with one small explain-back question.
  • When difficulty goes down, the tutor now re-pitches by reducing terms, SQL/code lines, and question scope.
  • LEARN remains out of persistent runtime goals.

Personal learning artifacts

  • Personal LEARN journals under learn/*.md are ignored.
  • learn/README.md remains tracked as the directory contract.
  • The accidental SQLD learner journal was removed from tracked history by a follow-up commit while preserving the local ignored file.

Included changes

  • feat: add 1-10 difficulty tuning to LEARN; merge interest into single USER_PREFERENCE file
  • fix: keep LEARN out of persistent goals
  • feat: make LEARN difficulty tuning bite-sized
  • chore: ignore personal LEARN journals
