- See which AI agents can reach this vault. The settings pane now lists every agent
connected to your Ctrl Notes vault, whether it can only read or can also write, and when
it was last used, with a link to manage them in the web app. With none yet, it shows the
command that connects Claude Code. The list is fetched from the Ctrl Notes service only
when you open the pane or press Refresh; nothing polls for it. - Sync status in the status bar. On desktop, a small icon and one word (Synced, Syncing
with the number of changes left, Idle, Connecting, Reconnecting, Updating, Error, Not
paired); click it, or press Enter or Space on it, to open the settings. - A clearer settings pane. Sync status comes first, your vault is shown by name, and the
two server addresses moved under Advanced. The status reads as short lines with real
plurals. If some files can't sync (too large, not UTF-8 text, a name that clashes with
another file's, or refused by the server), Show files lists each one and why. - Fewer dead ends. A device the vault no longer recognises (usually one removed from your
device list) offers Pair again…, after asking, because it erases this device's key;
any other refusal offers a harmless Try again. While waiting for your browser you can
open it again or cancel, including when the browser failed to open. Sync now in the
command palette is offered only once this device is paired, and after a refusal it tries
again, like Try again. - Connecting a device now highlights Connect and shows the vault id in a short form;
Disconnect… asks before it erases this device's key; there is a Manage devices
button; and messages say what went wrong and what to do next, without error codes.
