v0.8.1.0 — Teach it macros & orb themes

Choose a tag to compare

🪄 Macros — teach it a skill

Say “record a macro called morning setup”, do the steps by voice (open apps, arrange windows, start music…), then “stop recording.” From then on, “run my morning setup macro” replays the whole routine. Manage saved macros in Settings → Plugins.

🎨 Orb themes

Pick your orb's look in Settings → Advanced → Appearance: Aurora, Ocean, Sunset, Forest, or Mono. State feedback (thinking / acting / speaking / errors) keeps its colors on every theme so you always know what it's doing.

v0.8.0.5 — Orb states & smoother conversations

Choose a tag to compare

  • The orb now shows what it's doing — distinct colors per state: full aurora while listening, cool blue while thinking, mint while it's acting on your Mac, warm pink while speaking, ember on errors. The status pill gets a matching dot.
  • It pulses with its own voice — the orb breathes while the assistant talks (this was silently broken).
  • No more double-replies — fixed a race where background noise during a reply could queue a second response.
  • Panic stop — menu bar → Stop & Dismiss (⌘.) instantly ends the session.

v0.8.0.4 — Codex via the marketplace plugin

Choose a tag to compare

Codex coding tasks are now handled by the codex community plugin (install it from community.cursorvoice.app), not a built-in tool — one clean path, no duplicate.

v0.8.0.3 — Codex, smarter waiting, in-app help

Choose a tag to compare

  • Codex tool — ask it to write/refactor/run code and it delegates to your Codex CLI (uses your Codex subscription, not the API key).
  • Smarter flows — it can now wait for a dialog/page to appear before acting, instead of guessing timing.
  • "What can you do?" — ask the orb and it gives a quick, friendly overview with examples.
  • More reliable — switches approach after two failed tries instead of repeating itself.
  • Settings now shows the version in the top-right.

v0.8.0.2 — Interrupt by voice (without self-interruption)

Choose a tag to compare

You can interrupt the assistant by speaking again. To avoid the old problem of it interrupting itself on speakers, a barge-in is only honored for clearly-spoken input — quiet speaker echo is ignored. Headphones give the cleanest results. Toggle under Settings → Advanced → Behavior.

v0.8.0.1 — No more cutting itself off

Choose a tag to compare

Fixes the assistant interrupting its own speech. The mic was reopening while the reply was still playing out of the speaker and catching the tail; it now stays muted through the full playback. Voice barge-in remains available as an opt-in for headphone users (Settings → Advanced).

v0.7.9 — Stop responding to noise

Choose a tag to compare

@tottenabderrahmane1-create tottenabderrahmane1-create released this 03 Jun 17:56

Fixes the assistant repeating "ok ok ok…" on speakers or noisy mics. It now responds only when it actually hears a real command — empty/noise turns (and Whisper's silence hallucinations) are ignored instead of triggering filler replies.

v0.7.8 — Mic fix & sleep fix

Choose a tag to compare

@tottenabderrahmane1-create tottenabderrahmane1-create released this 03 Jun 17:44

Fixes a mic failure (CoreAudio error -10875) on some setups — echo cancellation now falls back gracefully instead of breaking the microphone. Also stops the assistant looping ("ok ok ok") when the Mac sleeps with a session open — it now closes cleanly on sleep.

v0.7.7 — No more self-interruption

Choose a tag to compare

@tottenabderrahmane1-create tottenabderrahmane1-create released this 03 Jun 17:36

The assistant now finishes speaking before it listens again, so it stops cutting off its own replies when the mic picks it up through the speakers. If you use headphones and want to interrupt it by voice, enable Settings → Advanced → Let me interrupt by speaking (barge-in).

v0.7.6 — Echo cancellation & fewer false triggers

Choose a tag to compare

@tottenabderrahmane1-create tottenabderrahmane1-create released this 03 Jun 17:26

Fixes the mic picking up the assistant's own voice through the speakers (which caused constant self-interruption) by enabling acoustic echo cancellation + noise suppression. Also makes voice detection less trigger-happy, and stops surfacing the random "cancellation / no response found" messages (benign internal races).
