Release list
π° Menu bar app v1.0.0
The machine, one click away, from inside any app.
Install
- Download AI-Slot-Tool-Finder-macOS.zip below and unzip it
- Drag AI Slot Tool Finder.app to your Applications folder
- Right-click the app β Open, then click Open in the dialog
Step 3 matters, and only the first time. The app is not signed with a paid Apple Developer ID ($99/year), so double-clicking shows "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." Right-click β Open is macOS's built-in way to say you trust it. After that it opens normally, forever.
Prefer the terminal? xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/AI Slot Tool Finder.app"
Then click π° in your menu bar and pull the lever. To have it there every morning: System Settings β General β Login Items β +.
What it does
Same machine as the site. Pull the lever, the reels stop left to right, you get one tool. Same no-repeat bag β all 379 before any repeat. Filter by category, Open it, or Copy for AI to paste an install request to your assistant.
- 616 KB, native Swift β not Electron, which would be ~200 MB for the same thing
- Universal β Apple Silicon and Intel
- Works offline β the full shelf ships inside the app; the network is a refresh, never a dependency
- Never needs updating β tools are fetched from
tools.jsononce a day, so new ones just appear - No account, no analytics β same posture as the site
Requires macOS 13 or later.
Or build it yourself β one Swift file, no dependencies:
git clone https://github.com/cuttingthru18-cmd/ai-slot-tool-finder.git
cd ai-slot-tool-finder/menubar
./build.sh --installv0.1.0 β first public release (157 tools)
