Setu v0.1.9

What's New (since v0.1.3)

Linux Support

• Self-contained AppImage — built with linuxdeploy + GTK plugin, bundles all shared libraries (GTK3, libdbus, libxdo, etc.) — no system packages required
• Systemd user service — after first-run setup, Setu auto-installs as a background service that starts on login
• Tray fallback — if the system tray is unavailable, falls back to headless mode

File-Based Vault Fallback

• If no OS keyring is available (no gnome-keyring / KDE Wallet), secrets are stored in ~/.local/share/setu/vault.json with chmod 600
• Keyring is still preferred when available; fallback is detected automatically

MSI Installer Fixes

• Fixed upgrade reliability — process is killed with a 2-second wait for file lock release before the old version is removed
• Windows artifacts are now zipped to avoid SmartScreen download warnings

Other

• Light theme fix for input fields (no more black-on-black on Linux/Windows)
• Clipboard support via xclip/xsel for Linux desktop environments
• Browser launch fix for OAuth URLs on Linux

Upgrade Note

If upgrading from v0.1.3–v0.1.8, uninstall the old version first (Settings → Apps → Setu → Uninstall), then install v0.1.9 fresh.
