There is only one example in here now but this could be useful for a new user so I'll try to sneak it into 1.4.

This is a new directory to provide users with use case examples of cymetric.
This includes an input file, database, a python script, and the resulting
figures using the script.

Sweet god of git this is ready after learning way too much about rebasing.

This looks fine to me, but I would recommend doing this in a Jupyter notebook, rather than a Python script. You are using a Python script as one would use a notebook. There are a lot of advantages to this, like github rendering them, etc. Just my two cents.

Was jupyter going to be for this PR or a future issue/PR? If not in this one, probably worth making an issue so we don't forget the idea/suggestion.

I think I will have my plate full enough to not get this looked at until after the release. It can either wait or I can make an issue. Since this was @gonuke's suggestion, perhaps he can offer an opinion?
