Directory of example(s) for users #99
Conversation
This is a new directory to provide users with use case examples of cymetric. This includes an input file, database, a python script, and the resulting figures using the script.
Sweet god of git this is ready after learning way too much about rebasing. Does anyone want to have a look? @mbmcgarry @gonuke @Baaaaam @rwcarlsen @scopatz |
This looks fine to me, but I would recommend doing this in a Jupyter notebook, rather than a Python script. You are using a Python script as one would use a notebook. There are a lot of advantages to this, like github rendering them, etc. Just my two cents. |
Thanks for the input! I'll look into doing that. |
Was jupyter going to be for this PR or a future issue/PR? If not in this one, probably worth making an issue so we don't forget the idea/suggestion. |
I think I will have my plate full enough to not get this looked at until after the release. It can either wait or I can make an issue. Since this was @gonuke's suggestion, perhaps he can offer an opinion? |
Can you please make an issue? |
nm I see it now |
There is only one example in here now but this could be useful for a new user so I'll try to sneak it into 1.4.
