First release of DamianH.Http.HybridCacheHandler.ContentStore.FileSystem: streaming filesystem storage for HTTP cache bodies, with optional bounded retention.

dotnet add package DamianH.Http.HybridCacheHandler.ContentStore.FileSystem --version 0.2.0

It plugs into DamianH.Http.HybridCacheHandler 0.2.0 to store large response bodies outside HybridCache, streaming them without buffering whole bodies in memory. HTTP metadata and small bodies stay in HybridCache.

Stores bodies on local or shared disk. Optional background cleanup applies soft limits on age (MaximumAge) and total size (MaximumTotalBytes).

  • Targets net10.0, netstandard2.0 and net472.
  • Depends on DamianH.Http.HybridCacheHandler.ContentStore 0.2.0.
  • A missing body is treated as a cache miss. Access and configuration errors are surfaced, not reported as a miss.
  • Retention is operator-managed and independent of HTTP freshness.
