PAI 2.5 installation process installs PAI 2.4?

First, MASSIVE THANK YOU Daniel, the PAI system is as big of a "wow" moment for me as first browsing the Internet was back in the late 90s. I have used and loved PAI 0.9.1 so much that I didn't even experiment with anything until 2.4 came out and I pushed my brother to try the whole system. I ran them both in parallel with symlinks (as described in the discussions here), but have made the decision to jump to 2.5 and migrate my learnings and skills piece by piece.

The one issue is that after removing all my old PAI directories (backed up) and starting fresh, the 2.5 installer seems to be reverting to 2.4 when I run INSTALL.ts. I am following the directions here (https://github.com/danielmiessler/Personal_AI_Infrastructure/tree/main/Releases/v2.5#quick-start) very carefully, and verify that ~/.claude/settings.json shows PAI version 2.5. But after running INSTALL.ts, the same json file (as well as my PAI statusline) shows 2.4.

I fully expect this to be something I am doing wrong, or perhaps this is one of the n00b tools that is getting updated last in the LONG list of awesome things you are doing to maintain the repo. I am not proficient in Github and have never made a PR but would love to contribute to the project if I can gain some confidence (using my PAI!).

Any ideas what is going on? I'd like to install 2.5 fresh to gain the significant benefits of the upgrade out of the box.

Same results here. Fresh VM installed. Pointed claude at https://github.com/danielmiessler/Personal_AI_Infrastructure/blob/main/INSTALL.md and it has just enough reference to 2.4 to confuse the context.
Alternatively, I used releases/2.5/install.md and that may have been confusing as well.
